I think I’m going to quit my job. I have been work at bi lo since I was a sophomore in high school; I can work every dept and just about do anything in the store. I have only gotten an 11 cent raise the whole time I have been there. So I make 7.36 an hour. Unacceptable! Now they hired all these kids in high school so they don’t have enough hours to go around. I’m getting one or two days a week.  So BI LO I QUIT! School is almost done for the year i'll find a new place.

I love my I phone and I’m a little mad that I got the I phone 4 and less than a year later the phone 5 is coming out.  Why? Microsoft why would you do this? It then I phone 4 could have just been skipped and wait for the 5 to be released. Microsoft doesn’t even have all the bugs worked out of the 4. Another thing is that it’s cheaper then when I bought the I phone 4. I’ve had enough the nest chance I get I’m switching to Verizon and getting the droid

summer awaits

Summer break is nearly here and I can’t wait. I have a summer job as camp consoler at Slater Marietta elementary. When I was in elementary school I spent my summer there. I get paid 830 an hour to supervise little children. We go to north side pool twice a week, which is now a water park, with sides and fountains. Other days we do arts and crafts and take day trips to the movies. I’m really excited about this I’m ready for school to be done and over with for the year whoop whoop.

Spring FTX Furman rotc

Last weekend was my ROTC’s FTX (field training exercise) at Fort Jackson. The first day was beautiful sunny and mid 70’s. The next morning was a complete turnaround cold cloudy. That wasn’t too bad. We then went to the rifle range. I shot 36 out 40 targets. About the time we go ready to leave the range it starts to storm really badly. Pouring rain, hail, lightning and a tornado warning in the area. So we continued to train and do some more activities in the day. At the end of the day we went to bed in our sleeping bags in the rain. Then we woke up and left. Not a bad way to spend my weekend

I'm in Panama City for spring break and judging by the drunken spring breakers I might be one of the few that remember spring break. The weather is great and i actually went into the water but it was super cold. One day it stormed, golf ball sized hail, tornado warnings and pouring rain.

Jack and the Crack

Once upon a time there was a boy named Jack. At age 13 Jack got hooked on crack. Jack knew what he was doing was totally wack. At this rate he was going to end up living in a shack. His mother and father had disowned the little boy, because he was no longer their bundle of joy. When Jack came home his parents had kicked him out.  Frighten and enraged he began shout. “Mother, Father how could you do this to me? “ We will let you back in when you are crack free”.  No one saw Jack after that day. I’m writing this at Leopard Forest Café in Travelers Rest. It’s kind of relaxing the smell of coffee and the chatter of people. I really wish I would of brought my head phones with me so I could listen to my iPod because I’m going to be here for a while. I have an 8 page paper to write due on Thursday, then another paper due on Tuesday, and a rough draft due on Friday before spring break. I have 2 midterms this week. One in military history, and another in math.  I really can’t wait to get this week over with.

Germ- ex is bad

When I was in the tenth grade, my friends caught me on fire in my chemistry class. Well we had a teacher that never really paid any attention to what we did in lab. We started experimenting with germ-x. First we started by setting parts of the counter top on fire. Then we put germ-x on our fingers and set it on fire. It would not start to feel right away because it had to burn through the layer of germ-x first. We just shook the fire out when it started to hurt. The next thing I know is that I have a whole glob of it on my lab apron and was on fire. Well I panicked trying to take the apron off of me and ended up ripping apron off of me. After stomping the fire out, I look up, my arm hair, eyebrows, and most of my head hair is gone. Top it off my friends left me in the lab alone on fire to die, with working fire extinguisher and fire blanket in the room.  

Beauty and the geek dance. also crazy boyfriends

Well I’m going to this dance with my girlfriend tonight, themed beauty and the geek. My girlfriend gave me the geek role. This got me thinking about Steve Erkel. Stereotypical geek right? Wrong, a guy going school eating nothing but cheese asking a girl to marry him every day is crazy, not a geek. Thinking about crazy people made me think, every guy has a story about a crazy ex-girlfriend. Why don’t I ever hear girls talk about crazy ex-boyfriend? Well girl crazy is a lot different than guy crazy so I have concluded that if a girl had crazy boyfriend that probably means he killed her.

NfL Babies

I hate NFL football players, after watching the super bowl last night the players are a bunch of babies. Could you imagine playing football all your life, pee wee to the NFL, and actually making it to the super bowl, the most important game of your life and be that guy who gets hit and injured. I must of saw 10 guys get hit a couple of times and quit the game. You don’t see high school kids at state championships quit, or college players at bowl games, they are motivated by winning and the glory, and sense of accomplishment. Players in the NFL lose their values, and the love for the game. I guess the way they think I get paid either way.

Bumper Stickers and Cherrios

I saw this bumper sticker today “paddle faster I hear the banjo music." I guess I just pictured a couple city guys paddling away from angry mob of hicks, marching with banjos, pitch forks and torches. I just it found kind of funny. The saying if you mess with the king's queens you better watch your ace jack is pretty funny too. I would like to say cherrios don’t actually lower cholesterol and if it did don’t you think the doctor would tell you “don’t worry about those expensive medications just eat cherrios.” I really just think  

So bored

Well here I am blogging again. I just finished my essay for my composition and rhetoric class, and i was just thinking to myself I am so bored i would rather do homework than anything else because it keeps my mind busy. Maybe I should go to sleep early just so I can wake up and go to class tomorrow whoopie. I'm sorry people if you happened to stumble across this blog. I bet you didnt even make it this far into reading the blog. If you did congratulations cause i will not probably make this far proofreading for errors. oh yeah I thought it was pretty funny to be the only follower of my own blog.

Me again

On a personal note I was born in Greenville South Carolina, and have lived on a small town street my whole life. I live on small farm on about 200 acres, with several horses and about 30 cattle. I’m engaged Caiti Maddox, she is a Furman student, an. We are planning getting married after she finishes school, as a condition from her dad which is a Col in the army, and was the ROTC director last year at Furman. So in many ways he is my boss.

I hope my professor likes my blog and does not check for grammatical errors. Blog of the week would nice.

Hi, my name is Wesley Singleton Bayne. Close friends and family call me Wesley but most of the time I just go by Wes. I'm in the Army National Guard, my MOS is 11B(infantry) and a secondary MOS as a 11C (indirect fire infantry). I’m also a student at NGU which primarily the reason for this blog, but I’m planning to be a history major, also I’m in the Furman University ROTC program. I have a ultimate goal of being a officer when I finish my school, and go active duty. Get a couple of deployments under my belt and just be the best leader I can.
